Equipment Qualification Engineer – Nuclear Services

We are looking for an Equipment Qualification Engineer to join the Nuclear Services team in Bilbao, Madrid, or Barcelona.

This role supports our nuclear engineering team on a recently awarded project in the United Arab Emirates. You will handle Item Equivalency Evaluations (IEEs), obsolescence issues for safety and non-safety components, and contribute to the development of commercial-grade dedication (CGD) for safety applications. You will also manage equipment data in SAP, prepare and review technical data sheets and bills of materials, and monitor critical indicators in maintenance systems—all while ensuring compliance with the technical, regulatory, and quality requirements of the project’s host country.

About you:

You should apply if you:

• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement engineering in the nuclear sector or other regulated industries
• Possess proven experience in Item Equivalency Evaluations (IEEs) and the development of Commercial Grade Dedications (CGDs)
• Have engineering and project management experience, with knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation equipment, nuclear plants, nuclear regulations (NRC, IEEE, ASME), equipment qualification, SAP, technical documentation, FMEA, and EQ/SQ processes
• Are a team player with technical excellence
• Can work independently and bring innovation
• Have an advanced level of English
