Key Responsibilities
Arranging toolbox meetings with the client on board the vessel.
Crane and gangway operations.
Familiarising and mentoring DEO Juniors and DEO Trainees.
PMS, executing and documenting planned maintenance.
Assisting and facilitating troubleshooting with engineers & shore technicians.
Housekeeping.
Informing clients when safety procedures are not followed.
Work in line with the QHSSE Policy of Acta Marine.
Remain up to date on international regulations and standards such as LOLER, IMCA and British Standards.
Optimize vessel production and continuity, ensuring efficient operations.

Who are we looking for?
Qualifications & Experience
Certification according to the relevant STCW Code, flag state regulations and ship type.
LEEA accredited Offshore Crane Operator Certificate Stage 3 – certified in accordance with BS7121 or OPITO.
SMST TAB-L Operator Certificate.
Strong English communication skills – both verbal and written.
