Job description

As a project engineer (T&I – Offshore) you play an important role in the successful execution of the offshore installation and hookup of the projects. Your expertise and leadership ensure that offshore installation of platforms is completed safely, on time, and within budget. An important role will be the coordination and communication with the installation subcontractor(s). You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team and report to the project/installation manager.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordination and communication with Installation Subcontractor for T&I works
• Co-ordination and communication with fabrication and engineering disciplines for all offshore related subjects
• Prepare and co-ordinate subcontractor Scope of Works for offshore hookup works
• Communication with and co-ordination of subcontractors and vendors.
• Perform engineering, technical project preparation and execution support for offshore hookup works.
• Travel offshore to support and co-ordinate for offshore installation and hook-up works

Who are we looking for

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven colleague with:

• HBO/WO education with a technical background.
• Experience in the construction of offshore platforms or similar heavy industry projects.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with a focus on safety and compliance.
• You have good communication skills.
• You have a good command of the English language both spoken and written.
