Lead Electrical Designer Energy and Offshore

Designing is fun—but designing complete wind, oil and gas structures within a multidisciplinary project team is even more rewarding. In this role, you combine engineering design work with your responsibilities as PDMS Coordinator Electrical & Instrumentation. You are responsible for configuring the PDMS system, setting up and managing the library, and coordinating project teams in the field of PDMS. Are you ready to take on this challenge?

Iv delivers tailor-made solutions in the field of offshore energy. We provide consultancy and engineering services from the very first feasibility studies through to the execution of all engineering and procurement activities. The offshore and energy sector holds no surprises for us. We have a strong track record in:

• offshore platforms
• FPSOs
• onshore facilities
• complex steel and mechanical installations for offshore applications

You may already be familiar with our involvement in projects such as the DolWin Alpha platform and the Sofia HVDC offshore converter platform. In addition, Iv is making major strides in offshore hydrogen production. For example, we are the engineering partner for the PosHYdon pilot project.

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for someone who has:

• a secondary vocational education (MBO) degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field
• at least eight years of relevant experience within the offshore or energy sector
• solid PDMS experience, including experience in a coordinating role

Equally important, you:

• have strong communication skills, enthusiasm and decisiveness
• enjoy motivating your team and getting the best out of your colleagues
• like collaborating and brainstorming with designers and engineers from other disciplines
