Job Description

As a Quantity Surveyor on a 6–12 month work placement, you will gain invaluable experience within our project delivery process. You will assist with progress applications, variation submissions, and contract administration, while supporting the team with weekly and monthly reporting.

You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts, contributing to the successful delivery of complex and innovative projects.

This placement offers exposure to a wide range of sectors, including:

• Construction

Throughout your placement, you will develop your technical knowledge and practical skills, building a strong foundation for your future career.

We have opportunities across multiple locations, including:

• Dublin
• Cork
• Limerick

Your Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Project Manager and support the project construction team
• Assist the team with monthly progress applications
• Generate and substantiate variations across projects
• Participate in site progress walks
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of weekly construction reports

Skills and Requirements

To excel in this placement, you should have:

• Ongoing pursuit of a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or Engineering
• Understanding of construction industry practices and technologies (prior experience is advantageous but not essential)
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and external partners
• Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• A willingness to learn and a strong commitment to continuous personal and professional development
