SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER (ALL)

To undertake all the civil engineering tasks within the “Tank, Civil and Structural Steel Department”. This will be required to liaise with other engineering disciplines. The engineer will be expected to take the lead role on proposals and projects and supervise a team of structural engineers/subcontractors:

• Review / interpret soil, seismic assessment reports prepared by other parties
• Execution and/or interpretation of geotechnical calculations
• Basic and detail engineering for all civil activities as required by project
• Supervise and coordinate the design of civil structures, roads, drainage, marine structures and earthworks as required by project
• Estimation of quantities and engineering manhours
• Use computer-assisted engineering and design Software to prepare engineering design documents
• Support / supervise the designers of the Plant 3D Model
• ITB preparation during project execution for external engineering Services and coordination/supervision of these works
• BackOffice support to site activities (reply of site queries, Validation of design reworks, etc)
• Support continuous improvement of the department and the Company (development of document templates, guidelines, clarification of interfaces etc.)
• Undertake the lead engineer role in the projects and mentor junior engineers
