Perform simulations and analyses: charging/discharging curves, losses, efficiency, battery degradation, grid impact, and environmental conditions;
Participate in technical due diligence for BESS projects and assess technical risks;
Collaborate with technology suppliers, contractors, and internal teams (design, execution, operations);
Support commissioning, testing, and implementation phases of projects.
Our requirements:
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy, Renewable Energy, or a related field;
5+ years of experience in designing energy storage systems or large-scale electrical/renewable energy installations (e.g., PV farms, power plants);
Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards: electrical codes, grid connection requirements, environmental and certification frameworks for BESS;
Experience with design and simulation tools (e.g., battery modeling, lifecycle analysis, performance simulations);
Proficiency in reading and preparing technical documentation, electrical diagrams, and component specifications;
Strong analytical and system-thinking skills, with understanding of BESS integration with the grid, PV, EMS, etc;
Knowledge of automation, control systems, and communication protocols used in BESS integration;
Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken) and excellent communication skills.
