Key Requirements
3rd Level Building Services / Electrical Engineering Degree and/or Trade background
Minimum 5 years plus experience in a site-based HV/MV role
Experience working on hyperscale Data Centres
Excellent IT skills
Strong ability to collaborate and work as part of a high-performance team

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the MEP Construction Manager in Region, your key responsibilities for the role will include but are not limited to:
Manage HV electrical systems, including installation and maintenance
Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations
Lead and coordinate HV projects, liaising with contractors and stakeholders
Align electrical activities so they are completed safely, ensuring the Health and Safety of all stakeholders is prioritised in decisions and works executed
Lead by example and ensure all stakeholders are aware of company-specific Health & Safety policies and procedures, making Health & Safety a key part of discussions
Be fully aware of and ensure stakeholders are aware of hazardous energies and site-specific management strategies (Lock Out Tag Out) around these energy sources
Maintain full working knowledge of project electrical systems and equipment, tracking installation to ensure compliance with specifications and program needs
Understand project-specific commissioning requirements and assist in developing project-specific Commissioning Implementation Plans (CIPs)
Complete site quality inspections of Electrical & CSA works to ensure installation conforms to relevant requirements
Coordinate that rooms or areas meet CSA and MEP Quality standards for advanced Beneficial Use in line with the master construction program
Ensure stakeholders receive sufficient information to progress systems installation in line with the master construction program
Ensure contractors and vendors are adequately resourced to complete works successfully, streamlining and prioritising the execution of electrical activities
Review the master construction schedule and identify opportunities and sequencing to focus on work faces in electrical and CSA scope to enhance program delivery
Review the site construction power system (Temporary Power) to ensure it meets ongoing construction and commissioning requirements
Chair and input into onsite and offsite meetings with all relevant project stakeholders as required
Issue weekly progress and cost reports
Manage subcontractor activities, tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels
Review and ensure system electrical stakeholders (internal and external) produce the following items:
Construction and Commissioning Programs reflective of the Master Construction Schedule
Works execution documents and trackers
Equipment Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Risk Assessments and Method Statements
Progress reports reflective of their scope in alignment with their program
All relevant Field and Vendor turnover/handover packs as required by the project
