About your role:
We’re looking for skilled Electricians to join our experienced Field Engineering team, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service exactly when they need it. Being there for our customers is our priority, and you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering our British Gas Service Promise of same-day fixes and installing electric vehicle charge points.
- Base Salary: £41,389 with uncapped OTE – £51,389 is a realistic expectation through our comprehensive field reward scheme
- Deliver safe, high-quality electrical work in customers’ homes, from fault finding and installations to full rewires and EV charge point installations
- EV installation experience is a bonus, but training and qualifications will be provided if needed
- Use problem-solving skills to diagnose issues efficiently, work safely, ensure first-time fixes, and promote British Gas products and services through professional advice and expertise
What we’re looking for:
- City & Guilds 2365 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent), culminating in a Level 3 Technical Certificate including the National Electrotechnical Training (NET) AM2 certificate
- Demonstrable experience working in the electrical industry (minimum two years as a qualified electrician)
- Current City & Guilds 2382 – B.S. 7671 IET Wiring Regulations certificate
- City & Guilds 2391.52 (or equivalent) highly desirable
- City & Guilds 2921/2919 EV charging desirable
