Key Responsibilities
As QHSSE Coordinator, you will play a vital role in strengthening our organization and supporting safe operations. You will:
Support crew and office staff in meeting all relevant QHSSE regulations and company standards.
Review, update, and continuously improve our Integrated Management System (IMS).
Proactively promote safety and risk awareness by providing guidance and training.
Provide QHSSE expertise to tenders and projects on all safety and compliance topics.
Coordinate and perform audits, inspections, and risk assessments, and coordinate timely follow-up.
Investigate incidents and define effective corrective and preventive measures.
Maintain QHSSE registers and contribute to reporting and management reviews.
Act as Deputy Company Security Officer (CSO) and Designated Person Ashore (DPA).
Support emergency preparedness through drills and exercises.
Job Requirements
We are looking for someone who combines QHSSE expertise with technical/operational insights and the ability to connect with people. You bring:
Several years of QHSSE experience, preferably in a maritime or offshore environment.
Knowledge of, or familiarity with, ISM, ISPS, and MLC requirements as well as ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
Understanding of relevant national and international HSE legislation.
Experience with risk management, auditing, and integrated management systems.
Internal auditor qualification (lead auditor is a plus).
Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
A proactive, structured mindset with attention to detail—and a genuine passion for QHSSE.
Please note: our new QHSSE Coordinator has to have a sufficient understanding of the Dutch language ánd has to be a Dutch resident (to be able to commute to our Rotterdam office).
