Purpose of the Role

The Commercial Manager is responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy of Harbour & Voyage. This role includes identifying new business opportunities, optimizing business processes, and expanding the product and service offerings.

The Commercial Manager is a key member of the Management Team (MT) and contributes to the company’s strategic decision-making.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Developing Commercial Strategies: Creating and implementing growth strategies to strengthen Harbour & Voyage’s market position.
• Market Analysis: Conducting market analyses to identify trends and opportunities.
• Product Development: Expanding the product and service offerings by developing new products or improving existing ones.
• Customer Relationships: Acquiring new customers and maintaining existing customer relationships.
• Marketing Campaigns: Overseeing the creation and execution of marketing campaigns.
• Reporting: Reporting progress and results to management.
• Leadership: Leading and motivating the sales and marketing team.
• Budget Management: Preparing and managing sales and marketing budgets.
• Contract Negotiations: Conducting contract negotiations with new and existing customers.

Education and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a commercial role, preferably within the maritime or Heavy Offshore sector.
• Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English; proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.
