We’re looking for a Key Account Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This remote role is based near Kerpen, Germany, and will focus on building long-term partnerships with key infrastructure clients. You’ll identify new business opportunities, strengthen existing relationships, and drive strategic growth. Regular travel (60–80%) across the assigned region is required, with occasional travel outside the territory.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Own the commercial relationship with strategic infrastructure accounts in your territory.
Deliver on revenue and margin targets in line with the business plan.
Develop and execute account strategies to grow existing relationships and unlock new opportunities.
Partner with the Commercial Director to align account planning with regional and global objectives.
Prepare and present tailored proposals, managing the full sales cycle to conversion.
Work closely with Application Engineers and internal teams to deliver high-value solutions.
Drive collaboration across local and global sales teams to strengthen account positioning.
Report on trends, client feedback, competitor activity, and strategic risks or opportunities.
Support vendor registration processes and ensure Enerpac is specified in relevant tenders or projects.
Lead Voice of Customer (VOC) and marketing-driven engagement initiatives.
Promote and uphold all safety, quality, and compliance requirements across client engagements.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Extensive experience managing large or strategic accounts, ideally within infrastructure or industrial sectors.
Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to negotiate and close complex deals.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Fluent in German and English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce or CRM tools is advantageous.
