About the position of Category Manager Services

What to expect of the Category Manager Services position within Huisman?Together, you will contribute to the Supply Chain strategy for the flawless delivery of components and services by developing existing and new suppliers, evaluating their performance, analyzing the markets in which Huisman and our suppliers operate and building sustainable partnerships worldwide.

What do we expect of you?

As a Category Manager Services, you will work in our Global Services team and closely cooperate with Category Buyers, Engineers, Management Team and other stakeholders at Huisman. This means you will be responsible for:

• Analysing the supply demand and markets for services;
• Developing sourcing strategies and sourcing of new suppliers;
• Establishing long-term sustainable partnerships;
• Evaluating suppliers;
• Leading warranty discussions with clients and suppliers;
• Contracting and contract implementation;
• Negotiating contracts for multiple projects or new products;
• Leading Category Buyers in working to framework agreements;
• Supporting Services Management Team on strategies and negotiations.
