What do we expect of you?

As a Mechanical Routing Engineer you are responsible for design of piping, cable routes and access. Your work is multidisciplinary and no day is the same. Your job consists of:

• Making Access & Outfitting Designs on system/basic/detailed level of complex systems;
• Indicate priorities (Interface, E-Rooms) in the design;
• Decide the level of required detail within a project/design based on project requirements;
• Impact analysis & system overview over the whole system;
• Acting pro-actively towards all the stakeholders to come to a cost effective design.

You have:

• a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or MBO 4 technicus engineering;
• Experience as a Mechanical Routing Engineer, within the offshore/maritime sector;
• We are also open to a candidate who wants to learn this profession;
• Pre to have experience of designing in 3D CAD package;
• Great affinity with or interest in complex mechanical systems;
• The ability to adapt quickly to new requirements and know how to prioritize.
