Job description

As Financial Controller in Almaty, Kazakhstan, you’ll take ownership of cost control and financial accuracy for our projects. You’ll prepare budgets, forecasts, and cost reports, track expenditures, and ensure compliance with Sarens standards. Working closely with procurement and project teams, you’ll identify cost-saving opportunities and provide management with clear financial insights to support strategic decisions.

Your job in a nutshell:

• Prepare cost reports, variance analysis, and forecasts.
• Track and control expenditures against budget and estimates.
• Collaborate with procurement and project teams to verify costs.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support implementation.
• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
• Maintain cost-related data in ERP/financial systems.
• Support audit and financial review processes.
• Reporting line: You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager and project teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in cost control, preferably in construction or logistics
• Strong analytical and financial skills
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems
• Advanced level of English
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
