During the 18-24 months trainee program, you will develop a deep understanding of Uniper’s business, its value drivers, and the business environment
You will start in Energy Assets for the first six months of your trainee program and then rotate flexibly upon your personal career development path and interests across the organization – you design your personal placement plan and receive support from your own mentor
You will learn from, network and collaborate with experts from different fields across Uniper, contribute your ideas and work on your own projects
You will contribute to and learn from our trainee community, receive trainings and development opportunities
In your predefined home unit Energy Asset Management/Operational Performance department, you will support operational data management and ensure accurate reporting; gain exposure to cost and performance benchmarking across our asset portfolio; actively contribute to the Performance Improvement Programme.
Your profile
Successfully completed studies in social sciences, business administration, (electrical, mechanical, industrial) engineering or similar, ideally with a focus on the energy business
First practical experience gained through internships and/or working student activities, ideally including intercultural experiences
Basic understanding of energy asset economics and performance KPIs
Well-developed communication and networking skills, combined with strong analytical and reasoning abilities
Interest in data-driven decision-making and continuous performance improvement
High level of ownership, accountability, and results orientation
Openness to feedback and a growth-oriented mindset
English language skills are required, German is a plus
