Preparation of control process specifications for generator auxiliary systems and participation in software FAT
Instrumentation/wiring for generator auxiliary skids
Lead electrical design for generator control cabinets (specification, supervision, and verification of detailed hardware design delivered by subcontractors)
Lead electrical design DC starters for emergency drives (specification, supervision, and verification of detailed hardware design delivered by Infosys)
Provide Intrinsic Safety solutions and calculations for ATEX compliance
Provide resolutions for engineering requests related to Generator Systems Controls/Instrumentation/Electrical site issues
Collaboration with Generator System Lead Application Engineer and Technical Experts on automation & control issues for tendering and service projects
Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute according to policy/strategy
Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others
Uses judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated concepts and processes with technical variety. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field and conveys performance expectations.
Required Qualifications
This role requires advanced experience in the Electrical & Controls Engineering. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
