Job description

Your key responsibilities are:

• Performing FEM analyses for civil and bridge structures
• Carrying out structural calculations in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards
• Developing structural models to support analysis and design processes

Qualifications

Must-have:

• A degree in Bridge Engineering or a related field
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in structural design, with a focus on civil structures and bridges
• Experience in designing bridges, pile slabs, retaining walls, and concrete tunnels, including preparation of quantity and cost estimates across all project phases (feasibility study to detailed design)
• Strong understanding of structural behavior, load distribution, and structural systems
• Experience in applying Eurocodes in bridge design
• Good proficiency in Tekla Structures
• Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
• Good command of written and spoken English (minimum CEFR level B1)

Nice-to-have:

• Understanding of FEM, preferably with Sofistik
• Working knowledge of Rhinoceros and Grasshopper
• Experience working on international projects, especially in the Nordic region
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in teams
