Your key responsibilities are:

Creating, interpreting, and adapting P&ID schematics for complex HVAC systems
Sizing hydraulic networks using dedicated software and selecting appropriate equipment
Selecting HVAC system components (e.g. chillers, water circulation systems, expansion systems)
Applying redundancy concepts in system planning and execution
Coordinating with other disciplines, both geometrically and functionally
Developing and implementing control concepts for HVAC systems
Supporting and performing commissioning of HVAC systems in data center and industrial environments
Developing 3D models of HVAC systems
Preparing schematic drawings
Extracting and calculating Bills of Quantities (BoQ)

Qualifications

Must-have:

A Bachelor’s degree or higher in HVAC engineering, or vocational training in HVAC
At least 7 years of professional experience
Solid knowledge of HVAC systems and their components
Extensive experience working in an engineering office environment
Experience with industry-specific software for network sizing and system design
Experience working on data center and industrial facility projects
Understanding of key technical concepts such as redundancy, control, and system integration
Familiarity with Common Data Environment (CDE) management
Experience in coordinating the work of junior designers
Strong understanding of BIM processes
An independent and structured working style
Flexibility in handling complex and challenging projects
Ability to collaborate across disciplines and coordinate project activities
Good command of English (minimum B2 level)

Nice-to-have:

8–12 years of professional experience
Proficiency in Revit MEP
Experience in generating BoQs from Revit for bids and cost estimation
Initial experience or potential in technical leadership and coordinating small teams
Knowledge of Italian or German
Ability to work effectively in a remote and distributed environment
