Job description

The position was mainly established for the purpose of supporting the Components Team of Asso.subsea. The position requires self-motivation and aspiration to further develop in a technology driven company that operates in the offshore industry. The successful candidate will assist and support the team with the maintenance of mechanical parts, instruments and for the Group’s bespoke and novel equipment.

Main Responsibilities

• Creation and editing of 2D & 3D drawings (e.g. AutoCAD, Inventor)
• Development of technical drawings for components, machinery, or structures
• Participation in the study, design, and development of new parts & assemblies
• Supervision and participation in the prototype construction and technical support during production
• Compliance with technical specifications and international standards (e.g. ISO, DIN)
• Use of ERP System (SAP)

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field of expertise such as one would receive at a university, technical trade school, etc.
• 3-5 years of related working experience;
• Other working experience is under consideration as well;
• Experience and familiarity with hand tools (wrenchers, screwdrivers etc) and electrical tools (drilling, grinding machine);
• Clear and effective oral and written communication skills in English language;
• Knowledge of Engineering Analysis (FEA) will be considered as a plus;
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, and sheet metal work.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat;
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor);
