Role description:
Oversee and manage, greenfield and brownfield, manufacturing and industrial projects within the Buildings Business Line, ensuring effective planning, organization, financial oversight, and compliance with legal requirements.
Manage projects from concept and feasibility through engineering, permitting, procurement, construction management, and commissioning phases.
Participate in and lead tender processes, working as an integral member of the bid team to secure new manufacturing projects.
Advise, mentor, and direct project teams to ensure best practices are followed throughout project delivery.
Oversee and manage client and commercial management, including contract administration and risk management, to proactively minimize disputes, complaints, and claims.
Engage with clients to understand and manage their expectations and requirements, ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate Arcadis and external project resources, including onsite engineers and subcontractors, optimizing team billability and overall project performance.
Act as a key contact with clients and partners to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the manufacturing sector.
Requirements:
Technical education in buildings construction or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, specifically delivering manufacturing and/or industrial construction projects, ideally with experience across all project phases (planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, handover).
Demonstrated track record of managing manufacturing/industrial projects from concept through to completion and handover.
Polish building license.
Able to manage construction outside of residence, if required.
Experience with FIDIC contracts and/or EPCM project delivery models preferred.
Prior experience in a consultancy environment with a strong understanding of manufacturing sector requirements is a significant advantage.
Fluency in Polish and English (written and spoken) required.
Strong technical knowledge supported by hands-on experience.
Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to manage budgets, contracts, and risk.
