Specialist Engineer for High-Voltage Power Transmission / Cable Systems (m/f/x)

Your Tasks

• Planning (designing) high-voltage and extra high-voltage cable systems with an emphasis on surveying, line routing, cable design, construction execution and construction logistics
• Preparing requirements specifications (tender texts, specifications, data sheets, drawings and layouts)
• Reviewing planning documents (design review)
• Comparing and evaluating bids (functional specifications) versus requirements specifications

Your Profile

• Engineer with experience in planning, constructing or operating high-voltage and extra high-voltage cable systems
• Several years of experience as an engineer in the field of power transmission
• Project management experience would be desirable
• Experience in the consulting or cable manufacturer sector would be ideal
• Experience in working with development banks, governments and authorities would be an advantage
• Spoken and written English language skills
• Willingness to undertake (short-term) assignments worldwide
