Job Purpose
The Materials Coordinator is responsible to ensure that all deliveries, shipments and returned equipment movements made on behalf of TechnipFMC Vessels and Projects are processed and completed in an efficient process in accordance with company-approved procedures.

 

Job Description
To carry out the day-to-day operations of the Shared Services Logistics function, ensuring equipment required for the Vessels and Projects is processed according to current company procedures. This includes ensuring all orders are efficiently receipted, stored, and delivered correctly for onward shipment to meet requested schedules as required by stakeholders.

 

Main Accountabilities:

  • Ensuring logistics procedures and processes are followed in the relevant discipline as assigned in Goods In, Shipping or Goods Return / Yard
  • Goods are checked for quantity and any apparent damage at each stage of the process
  • Goods are as listed on relevant purchase orders, delivery notes, outward and inward shipping manifests
  • Goods are as requested against purchase orders and shipping requests / instructions
  • Information updates and document creation are completed on the company ERP system

 

You are meant for this job if:

  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Relevant operator certificates for forklifts
  • Good organisational skills with a capacity to work on own initiative as well as part of a busy team
  • Experience in warehouse and logistics operations
  • Good knowledge of the Manual Handling Regulations
  • Knowledge of HM Customs procedures and routines
  • Knowledge of air, sea and road freight shipment regulations
  • Knowledge of handling & storage of hazardous materials, including certification and documentation required to transport them
