Now Hiring: Mechanical Project Manager
Due to continued growth and recent project wins, we are now seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our expanding team.
This role involves full management of the Mechanical Scope of Work (SOW) for our data centre projects, with oversight of cost, schedule, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
As Mechanical Project Manager, your duties will include:
Managing and tracking project milestones to prevent schedule delays.
Reviewing construction proposals, scopes, and pricing.
Full cost management of Mechanical SOW:
Internal Mechanical Team
Subcontractors
Materials and deliveries
Plant and equipment
Variations and valuations
Planning daily site operations with package managers.
Managing subcontractor activities, schedules, and manpower.
Monitoring punch lists and snagging with site supervisors.
Reporting weekly labour hours (internal and subcontractor) for tracking.
Attending all relevant project and coordination meetings.
Supporting project close-out: Final Account, O&M Manuals, QA/Safety Files, Material & Plant returns.
Compiling weekly progress reports based on WBS codes and identifying risks.
Tracking all material deliveries in line with project schedule.
Conducting weekly commercial meetings to track variations and costs.
Promoting a strong Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) culture.
Supporting and implementing company procedures with the Package Managers.
Managing project changes related to cost and programme.
Skills & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Proven experience in Mechanical Project Management, ideally in data centre environments.
Strong capability in managing scope, schedule, and budget.
Solid track record in coordinating large-scale mechanical installations.
Technical knowledge of mechanical systems in a data centre context.
Familiarity with design-and-build processes for mission-critical facilities.
