Responsibilities
Lead the design and engineering of instrumentation and automation solutions for power generation and industrial facilities, including equipment specification, control valve sizing, and integration of DCS, PLC, and SCADA platforms.
Develop comprehensive technical documentation, specifications, and engineering deliverables aligned with relevant international codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple global offices while supporting and mentoring junior engineers throughout all project phases.
Oversee procurement-related tasks such as preparing material requisitions, assessing technical components of vendor offers, and reviewing supplier documentation for compliance and approval.
Participate in FAT activities and support commissioning efforts for DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems, providing hands-on assistance during startup and troubleshooting.
Ensure proper interfacing and communication between OEM main plant DCS and balance-of-plant control systems, including package PLCs.
Contribute to project reviews, design improvements, and optimization initiatives aimed at enhancing system performance and reliability.
Requirements
Degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in instrumentation and control engineering for power plants and/or industrial facilities.
Strong background in control system design, instrument selection, valve sizing, and integration of OEM DCS with BOP systems and package PLCs, including SCADA connectivity.
Experience with material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, vendor document control, and supporting FAT and commissioning activities for I&C systems.
Solid understanding of applicable international standards, regulations, and engineering codes.
Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary, multi-location engineering teams.
Excellent command of English.
Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
