Co-ordinates and undertakes discrete packages of work with other team members and disciplines (under the technical leads direction mainly for larger projects).
Provides specialised technical input for electrical systems.
Performs AECOM Technical Quality Procedure tasks.
Provides succinct packages for work for review by others.
Contributes to technical direction for studies and design efforts.
Contributes to complex technical solutions to clients.
Participates in development of technical proposals.
Contributes to preparation of specifications, schedules, drawings, calculations and any other contract deliverables when needed.
Liaison with Clients, professional organizations, contractors, suppliers, trade contractors and other designers.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A track record of having worked on a variety of Building Services designs covering for example; Education, Defence, Healthcare and Commercial projects.
Some experience of leading electrical design within multidisciplinary projects
A highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
Be comfortable working from a mixture of home or office environments with virtual communication platforms.
A member of a professional Institution (e.g. IET or CIBSE) and looking to achieve professional incorporated and chartered status
Able to act on own initiative and operate in a pro-active way to enhance and protect AECOM.
Report & Specification writing skills, contribution to client presentations and attending meetings with clients.
The successful candidate must have already attained or be eligible for UK MoD Security Clearance within the probation period.
Qualifications
An Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering degree
