The Opportunity
As a junior geotechnical engineer, you contribute to the design and engineering of bridges, civil structures and buildings. You will prepare desk studies, plan ground investigations, interpret factual data and develop ground models from geotechnical surveys, conduct geotechnical analyses and perform calculations using finite element methods. You will apply the latest techniques and contribute to the further digitalisation and automation of our analyses and calculations. Based on your analyses, you will provide valuable geotechnical advice to project teams, helping shape design decisions. Working within multidisciplinary project teams, you will receive guidance from experienced engineers, ensuring a supportive learning environment to further develop your skills. In doing so, you use the global knowledge available within Arup; you will be part of a culture of cooperation and knowledge sharing. This is how we stay ahead in a rapidly changing world.
