In this role, you will be working in a live MOD facility. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Acting as a subject matter expert for the production of drawings and providing technical support to personnel when required.
Ensuring that all drawing work complies with ISO 19650, BAM, and CAD standards.
Providing drawing production training to both team members and the supply chain.
Supporting the Document Control team in reviewing drawings before client submission.
Understanding hardware and software requirements on the project and coordinating with the BIM Lead and Project Information Manager.
Representing BAM at internal and external meetings as required.
Maintaining high safety and environmental standards in line with company policies and reporting any inadequacies promptly.

What do you bring to the role?

A degree in a related discipline (e.g. Civil Engineering, Architecture) is preferred.
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary, diverse team.
Experience in rebar design and checking.
Solid understanding of civil and structural design principles.
Strong background in producing detailed technical drawings.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Ability to train and mentor site engineers and others to produce drawings in accordance with standards.
Prior experience with ProjectWise and Revit is beneficial but not essential.
Basic awareness of ISO 19650 (Level 2 BIM) or BS 1192 and associated PAS/BS 1192 codes.
