In this role, you will be working in a live MOD facility. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Acting as a subject matter expert for the production of drawings and providing technical support to personnel when required.
• Ensuring that all drawing work complies with ISO 19650, BAM, and CAD standards.
• Providing drawing production training to both team members and the supply chain.
• Supporting the Document Control team in reviewing drawings before client submission.
• Understanding hardware and software requirements on the project and coordinating with the BIM Lead and Project Information Manager.
• Representing BAM at internal and external meetings as required.
• Maintaining high safety and environmental standards in line with company policies and reporting any inadequacies promptly.

What do you bring to the role?

• A degree in a related discipline (e.g. Civil Engineering, Architecture) is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary, diverse team.
• Experience in rebar design and checking.
• Solid understanding of civil and structural design principles.
• Strong background in producing detailed technical drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Ability to train and mentor site engineers and others to produce drawings in accordance with standards.
• Prior experience with ProjectWise and Revit is beneficial but not essential.
• Basic awareness of ISO 19650 (Level 2 BIM) or BS 1192 and associated PAS/BS 1192 codes.
