Role Overview

We are seeking a Crane Superintendent to serve as the technical authority for all crane systems across the Cadeler fleet. You will oversee maintenance, inspections, and technical improvements, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant crane operations. You will work closely with Vessel Managers, OEMs, and the Technical Maintenance Team to optimize crane performance and support operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the technical owner and subject matter expert for all cranes installed across the Cadeler fleet

• Oversee and execute all crane maintenance and inspection activities down to the hook

• Maintain proactive relationships with crane OEMs to ensure technical alignment and support

• Monitor wire rope condition, plan replacements, and further develop Cadeler’s wire rope strategy

• Ensure accurate and up-to-date technical records and documentation

• Develop, refine, and optimize the crane inspection and maintenance regime

• Support Vessel Managers and the Technical Maintenance Team with day-to-day planning, coordination, and critical spare-parts readiness

• Contribute to internal and external audits by providing required documentation and evidence

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a safety-minded and structured professional who thrives in a dynamic offshore environment and shares our commitment to environmental responsibility. The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working with offshore cranes and a solid understanding of relevant maritime codes and standards

• Bring experience from a similar offshore or maritime operational support role, ideally with knowledge of Classification Societies and vessel certification

• Be proficient in standard IT tools, including Microsoft Office

• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

• Demonstrate a collaborative approach and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
