Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience coordinating design and construction on large-scale projects, preferably hyperscale Data Centres
• Strong knowledge of building regulations (BCAR, TGD), environmental, health, and safety standards
• Demonstrable experience in managing workshops and coordinating subcontractors
• Excellent planning, programme management, and organisational skills
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and BIM/coordination software

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a platform for good communication and coordination between Architects, Structural Engineers, and Service Engineers working directly for the project
• Ensure any design development is communicated with Contracts Management (CM) and Quantity Surveyor (QS) teams from a financial perspective
• Maintain commercial and contractual awareness throughout project delivery
• Hold and lead workshop meetings with specialist subcontractors
• Coordinate and track the submittal and approval process of designs and materials, ensuring Client Representative sign-off and approval
• Identify and resolve design risks/problems with the Design Team before they materialise
• Develop look-ahead plans to ensure alignment with the master construction schedule
• Plan and coordinate with Site Project Managers (PM) and Site Managers (SM) to ensure all parties are aligned
• Track construction progress, ensuring approvals, material lead times, and subcontractor schedules align with the master programme
• Attend site meetings and report on progress, ensuring effective communication between design and site teams
• Review site construction power systems (Temporary Power) to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Ensure contractors and vendors are adequately resourced to execute works successfully
• Ensure rooms and areas meet relevant CSA and MEP quality standards for advanced beneficial use
• Chair and input into onsite and offsite meetings with all relevant project stakeholders
• Issue weekly progress and cost reports
• Manage subcontractor activities, tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels
• Review and ensure all stakeholders (internal and external) produce required items, including:
  • Construction and Commissioning Programs aligned with the Master Construction Schedule
  • Works execution documents and trackers
  • Equipment Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Progress reports reflecting scope and alignment with schedule
  • Field and vendor turnover/handover packs as required by the project
