At Dornan we are currently recruiting for a Design Manager to Join a Pharma Project in Surrey 

Responsible for the planning, design and delivery of the project. Working as part of a team, lead for the Project BIM Coordinators.  Liaising and coordinating with Dornan Engineers, Design Teams and 3rd party contractors.

Develop the project program and BIM delivery strategy and to manage workload of project Revit Technicians.

As a Design Manager and  member of the BIM  team, Design  Manager will be an exemplar ambassador for the company and its values; integrity, dependability, safety, pride, quality.

Your day to day will include:

• Manage / Co-ordinate the BIM team
• Liaising, collaborating coordinating with 3rd Party Contractors and designers
• Chair Weekly Coordination Meetings and Breakout Workshops
• Manage Master Revit MEP Model
• Produce weekly Updates of Navisworks Model and issue Clash Detection Reports
• Work with 3rd Party Contractors and designers to resolve clashes
• Generating full 4D and 5D model
• All other reasonable tasks assigned to you from time to time from your manager

What we are looking for:

• Detailed knowledge of the BIM Lead role
• Commercial understanding
• Health, Safety and Environmental systems
• Knowledge of the teams strengths and weaknesses
