At Dornan we are currently recruiting for a Senior Planner to work on our hyperscale Data centre in Groningen.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Senior Planner will be responsible for all aspects of Planning and Scheduling on a project including execution of the schedule from commencement to completion of works. In addition, the Senior Planner will be responsible for the establishment & implementation of Dornan’s standard Project Controls Procedures & Systems applicable to the project scope, and any client specified planning related deliverables.

Your day to day will include:

• Managing and leading a team of Planners, including graduates
• Ensuring team is structured and roles & responsibilities are clearly defined
• Project Planning using Primavera P6 or ASTA PowerProject
• Using Software like Excel, Power BI & Bluebeam to producing day to day deliverables
• Develop Pre-Construction, Construction and Commissioning Program’s as part of the Dornan project team.
• Ensure Site walks are caried out on a weekly basis to ensure the Senior planner is familiar with the projects progress. This may include Openspace 360 camera surveys capturing site progress

What we are looking for:

• Proficient in Primavera P6
• Proven track record in the construction industry in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of Electrical systems
• Very strong excel skills and Power BI is advantageous however not essential
• Strong communicator with the ability to gather information from multidisciplinary teams to manage progress on the project
