Support subsea cable projects (AC and HVDC) with cable engineering, design, technology and manufacturing know -how
Develop HV cable specifications for inner array or export cable systems
Review cable design and manufacturing documents
Prepare and attend supplier and factory audits as well as cable type tests, and support the cable manufacturing supervision
Backoffice engineering for NCR and punch items from the cable manufacturing process
Manage the interface to the cable installation
Identify and report technical risks
Contribute to the overall optimization of inner array grid layouts and export cable connections for offshore wind farms
Report to package and/or project managers and liaise with colleagues from other work
Your Profile
Master, Bachelor or equivalent in electrical or industrial engineering
Several years of relevant subsea cable engineering experience
Familiar with developing or working with EPC tender, design and manufacturing documents
Experience in the field of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) and/or AC power transmission
Experience in offshore wind and/or interconnector projects
Fluency in English, German would be a benefit
Willingness to undertake regular trips to the project countries
Valid EU work permit
