Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer who will be integral to the successful execution and delivery of a Data Center project.

Location: Gavle, Sweden

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients, architects, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop detailed plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Electrical Engineering and Fire Protection
• Prepare technical drawings, red-line technical drawings and documentation using industry-standard software and BIM tools, ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.
• Source materials, equipment, and components, evaluating vendor proposals to ensure timely, cost-effective solutions.
• Oversee construction and installation, providing technical guidance to on-site teams and conducting site inspections to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Address technical challenges during construction, implementing effective solutions promptly.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, project close-out and technical reports for clients and management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Experience as a Mechanical Engineer in industrial projects
• Knowledge of design tools, and software.
• Familiarity with BIM and other relevant engineering technologies.
• Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• English – min. B2
