Wind Turbine Service Technician – Onshore & Offshore

Job description

Join our growing international team and take part in site-based service activities on Vestas, SGRE, Nordex, and GE turbines – both Onshore and Offshore. You’ll contribute directly to the safe and efficient operation of wind farms worldwide.

Your key responsibilities

• Participate in maintenance and servicing of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs)
• Perform commissioning and troubleshooting tasks
• Carry out major component exchanges
• Conduct corrective maintenance activities
• Ensure that all quality measures and safety instructions are strictly followed
• Supervise and verify the correct use of special tools and equipment
• Participate in training sessions organized by GWS
• Plan and organize your own work effectively
• Inspect and maintain safety gear, company vehicles, tools, and other GWS property

Requirements

• Experience in service and maintenance of Vestas, Siemens, GE, or Nordex turbines
• Completed mechanical, technical, or electrical education
• English at a communication level (spoken and written)
• Cooperative, communicative, open-minded, and flexible – with respect for others and different cultures
• Capable of working at remote sites in challenging weather conditions
• Willingness and ability to travel and work domestically and internationally as required
• Physically fit and confident working at height
• Professional approach with a strong emphasis on Quality and Safety
• Clean driver’s license and ability to obtain a valid passport
• EU citizenship
• Valid GWO training and OGUK Medical Fitness certificate
