Job description

We are supporting our client – an international offshore wind developer – in finding an experienced Consents Senior Specialist to take a leading role in securing all necessary permits and ensuring regulatory compliance during the construction phase of the Wind Farm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the permitting process for the construction and operation of the offshore wind farm.
  • Ensure compliance with all permit and consent conditions throughout the construction phase.
  • Act as the project’s Subject Matter Expert on permitting and consents.
  • Liaise with both statutory and non-statutory authorities.
  • Interface closely with Engineering and EPCI packages across the project.
  • Oversee the transfer of permitting requirements to all EPCI packages and ensure alignment.
  • Prepare permit applications where required and conduct technical reviews of documentation.
  • Coordinate with environmental teams and support PMO on risk, schedule, and change management.
  • Manage external consultants and contractors, ensuring timely and budget-aligned delivery.
  • Deliver technical input for project presentations and management updates.

Requirements:

  • MSc or equivalent in engineering (environmental, civil, marine, or related field).
  • 10–15+ years of experience in offshore wind or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of permitting processes in Poland and EU frameworks
  • Proven experience engaging with public authorities and regulatory bodies.
  • Fluency in both English and Polish (minimum C1).
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational mindset, capable of working independently and under pressure.
