Lead Mechanical Engineer

At Iv, you’ll work on technically challenging and iconic projects, from retractable stadium roofs to offshore installations and amusement park systems. As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will:

• Translate technically complex problems into feasible designs
• Manage and guide engineers and designers
• Perform and check calculations for mechanical systems
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a complete, integrated design
• Stay involved in hands-on technical work, from initial setup to detailed calculations
• Participate in meetings with clients, advising on designs or product selection
• Contribute ideas throughout the entire design process, from feasibility studies to detailed engineering

You will be part of a 28-member team, combining young talent and experienced engineers, working in a collaborative, informal environment with a shared goal: achieving excellent engineering solutions.

What We Expect from You

• HBO or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 8 years’ experience in design and engineering
• Experience with dynamically loaded structures is a plus
• Enjoys managing colleagues and overseeing technical aspects
• Meticulous and clear communicator
• Fluent in Dutch and English
