From the outside, you see steel, cables and installations. But what makes it all work together lies in the control systems. As a SCADA Engineer at Iv, you will develop the systems behind our offshore substations.
You will be responsible for the detailed design and implementation of SCADA systems within major wind energy projects. In this role, you set up complete networks and communication structures, ensuring installations operate safely, reliably and are future-proof. Each design incorporates aspects such as redundancy, optimisation and data handling, translating technical requirements into practical, buildable solutions.

As a SCADA Engineer, you will be part of multidisciplinary project teams consisting of 5 to 10 people. You coordinate technical matters with the project manager and report on other aspects to the discipline manager. You will join the instrumentation engineering team, which consists of approximately 30 colleagues. The working atmosphere is international and results-driven, combining global expertise with the hands-on, can-do mentality typical of Rotterdam.
