About the Opportunity
As Deputy Project Performance Manager, you will work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of selected work packages, ensuring on-time delivery in line with project governance and assurance requirements.
You’ll coordinate teams, manage priorities, balance workloads, remove blockers, report on performance, and escalate issues to workstream managers where necessary.
Building strong working relationships will be essential to maintain effective communication with technical experts, internal stakeholders, and clients, including in remote working environments.
You’ll facilitate planning and problem-solving workshops, driving decision-making on complex issues.
Here’s what you’ll need
Knowledge of Lean tools and techniques (e.g. Collaborative Planning, Visual Management, Last Planner).
Experience working within civil infrastructure and/or construction programmes involving multiple stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
Experience with client engagement and relationship building.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Experience using task management tools (e.g. Asana, Monday.com, Planner), Power Query, Power Apps, Power BI, and/or Power Automate.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Teams.
An investigative mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
The ability to manage large work packages, with resilience and strong organisational skills.
A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working with diverse teams and clients.
A strong commitment to delivering high-quality work, driving continuous improvement, capturing lessons learned, and constructively challenging existing ways of working to identify better solutions.
