In This Role You Will

Your Role

You will be joining the IT PMO & Applications team of JERA Nex bp, which is responsible for IT projects and the maintenance of our business application landscape.

Within this team, you will serve as the main contact point for support and user management on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and other ERP landscape applications (e.g. SuccessFactors, Financial Planning & Analytics tools).

Additionally, you will work in a functional role on change requests and projects to improve applications, while also creating training materials and providing key user training.

Key Responsibilities

• Support key users and end users:
  • Resolve functional issues.
  • Respond to user questions.
  • Escalate issues to AMS partners and vendors, and follow up on resolution.
  • Deliver key user training on specific topics.
• User administration and authorization management:
  • Onboard and offboard users in the applications.
  • Resolve authorization requests.
  • Implement changes to authorization setups (business roles).
• Change requests:
  • Identify potential system improvements proactively.
  • Capture business requirements and assess feasibility.
  • Perform functional configuration and testing.
  • Follow up on CRs implemented by the AMS partner.
• Documentation:
  • Create and update system design documents and training materials.
• Project participation:
  • Support ERP-related projects (analysis, testing, data migration, etc.).
• System administration and monitoring.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• At least 2 years of professional experience in a functional analyst or IT support role related to ERP systems.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (essential).
• Experience with SuccessFactors (strong plus).
• Experience with financial accounting in an ERP system (strong plus).
• Strong motivation to support end users with daily issues, requests, and questions.
• A hands-on, analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to identify and implement system improvements through structured change requests.
• Experience working with IT service management tools.
• Excellent communication skills and a diplomatic approach with end users, AMS partners, and software vendors.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
