Cost Engineer (f/m/d)

Job description

Your Responsibilities:

• Cost calculation and analysis: Calculation and analysis of production and manufacturing costs of steel construction components
• Purchasing support: Assistance in supplier negotiations based on best cost calculations with Teamcenter Product Cost Management
• Identification of cost optimization potentials
• Close collaboration with purchasing, product development, and production
• Acting as an expert and point of contact for product cost issues in your area of responsibility

Your Qualifications:

• Completed education (HTL, FH, TU) in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
• Relevant professional experience in purchasing price negotiations and design-to-cost
• Strong teamwork skills with interdisciplinary cooperation involving development departments, purchasing, SCM, production, quality, and controlling
• Experience in data preparation and processing (SAP, Excel, Power BI)
• Good command of spoken and written English; German would be an advantage
