Responsibilities

• Oversee HVAC design, installation, and commissioning for new, high-value capital projects
• Manage BIM (Building Information Modelling) and develop technical documentation, including P&IDs and equipment sizing
• Act as a subject matter expert in HVAC systems, including air handling units (AHUs), isolators, and refrigeration systems
• Ensure HVAC system designs comply with ISO cleanroom classifications
• Lead commissioning and qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Ensure environmental monitoring systems meet regulatory standards
• Collaborate with construction and validation teams to ensure timely project execution
• Troubleshoot HVAC performance issues and implement corrective actions

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience with HVAC systems in pharma or biotech facilities
• Strong understanding of GMP, ISO 14644, and relevant regulatory guidelines
• Experience managing contractors and cross-functional teams
• Strong project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling
• Proven expertise in HVAC systems for cleanroom environments
