We are looking for Director / Head of Corporate Commodity Management – – Heavy Components (f/m/d)

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Own the global commodity strategy for heavy components (castings, forgings, large steel fabrications, bearings, cables, cold blades and vanes), ensuring alignment with Siemens Energy’s business priorities.
• Lead and develop a high-performing global team (~15 corporate and regional commodity managers), fostering accountability, ownership and an achievement-driven culture.

• Drive value co-creation with:

  • Procurement in Business units.

What You Bring as Director / Head of Corporate Commodity Management

• 5–10+ years of strategic procurement leadership experience, ideally in complex industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience leading global, cross-cultural teams, including leadership of leaders.
• Strong exposure to cross-functional environments, with operations, engineering, and project management strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive outcomes in matrix organizations.
• Strong track record in supplier strategy, risk management and value creation.
• Mindset:
  • Visionary leader with ownership and accountability.
  • High drive.
  • Courage to challenge the status quo.
• Strong business acumen, negotiation skills and analytical capabilities.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally (~30%).
