Bridge Engineer

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform design calculations and collaborate closely with the Danish team on project tasks;
  • Concrete structural design of all kinds of bridge and tunnel projects;
  • Develop detailed engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports for bridge projects;
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, euro codes, and regulations related to bridge engineering;
  • Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines.

What type of projects do you work with:

  • Infrastructure projects, a combination of new bridges and remodeling of existing bridges.
  • Climate adaptation projects (tunnel and overflow structures for flooding).

Our requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering;
  • We have a variety of positions available based on the candidate’s expertise, ranging from 3 years to 10 years of relevant experience;
  • Experience in detailed, structural design of reinforced concrete, preferably covering both new structures and remodeling of existing bridges.
  • Practical knowledge of software: Midas or Autodesk Robot or MathCAD and good with basic knowledge of MicroStation;
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken);
  • Good to have: familiar with the Danish market.
