Structural Engineer (Power Lines)

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Design reinforced concrete and steel structures including develop conceptual and detailed designs;
• Analyze and conduct structural load calculations for overhead towers, determining minimum size requirements;
• Demonstrate proficiency in FEM programs for complex structural analysis and simulation;
• Possess an advanced understanding of statics and structural mechanics to ensure the stability and safety of designed structures.

Our requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical engineer, Electrical engineering or related field;
• 5+ years of experience in Structural engineering and design for overhead transmission lines;
• Proficiency in designs software RFEM/FEM-Design/Robot/STAAD;
• Proficiency in 2D or 3D softwares like Inventor/Microstation/Autocad/Revit;
• Knowledge of the European standard EN 50341;
• Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken);
• Good to have: Tekla knowledge.
