Your position

Your impact

In your role as Document Controller you are the point of contact for counterpart and/or stakeholders. But also for the project team regarding document control. At the same time you have the responsibility to oversee the project document flow for one or more packages. You will also will be responsible to coach and guides your team members.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Manages and Controls registers (lists) and files documents in our SharePoint based Document Management System;
• Managing and processing of internal and external documents;
• Checks compliance and quality of documents;
• Distributes documents;
• Handling of correspondence;

Your workplace

The Document Control team comprises 28 enthusiastic colleagues who are setting a new standard for the quality of our work. Together with the team, you will focus on further professionalizing and automating our workflow to provide the best support for our project and tender teams. You report on project level to the Lead Document Controller and Project Director and for department matters to the Document Control Manager.

Internally, you will collaborate with various disciplines. You will also engage with external stakeholders such as clients, suppliers, certification authorities, and more. Every day is slightly different, and that’s exactly what keeps you motivated!

About you

For this position, we are looking for a meticulous and proactive professional who thrives on the structured management of documentation within a dynamic technical environment. The ideal candidate will have the following profile:

• MBO working and thinking level;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in document control;
• Proficiency in written and spoken English & German;
• Minimum 40hrs availability;
• Living in the Netherlands within 1 hour travelling distance of Van Oord office (Rotterdam).
