At the business unit Subsea Cables we are looking for A Junior QA\/QC Engineer to take on this challenge.\u00a0 In this role you will be supported by Experienced Quality Professionals but will be expected to be proactive and able to work at times independently. \u00a0You will support projects in the business unit in the development, maintenance and compliance of the integrated Quality Management System (Way of Working\/WoW), in line with internal, client, legal and certification requirements. This goes hand in hand with continuous improvement of our standards and processes in order to achieve operational excellence.\u00a0 As a Junior QA\/QC Engineer you will be required to travel abroad to visit projects and sites.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your responsibilities\u00a0as a (Junior) QA\/QC Engineer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Commitment to successfully completing the QA\/QC Professional Development Program.<\/li>\n<li>Seek support from Experienced Quality Professionals during review and approval of completed tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting completion of project and business unit QA\/QC\u00a0procedures, plans and instructions;<\/li>\n<li>Gain understanding of the tender and project quality\u00a0documentations review;<\/li>\n<li>Support the delivery of the Internal and external quality systems audits;<\/li>\n<li>Coordination, participation and witnessing of inspection\u00a0activities in compliance to Industry standards and\u00a0Client requirements;<\/li>\n<li>Supported review of inspection documents, procedures, ITPs;<\/li>\n<li>Participate in NCR life cycle, including investigations, root cause analysis, corrective action and final closure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your Qualities and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>You can make your mark as a (Junior) QA\/QC Engineer if you have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good command of English (written and spoken).<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years experience in a Quality related function is preferred however consideration will be given to people with a technical or engineering background\/education looking to transfer or begin within the field of quality.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of ISO 9001 is preferrable.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of electronic reporting \/action tracking software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The following competencies are also important for the role of function:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Great communicator who can work independently, as part of a project team, and across supporting departments.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail is evident with your reporting and produced works.<\/li>\n<li>Having a methodical and analytical approach to completion of tasks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you passionate about moving into the field of Quality Assurance \/ Quality Control and have the ambition and drive to follow a structured development program to achieve this?
