The\u00a0Manager Supply Chain requires an in-depth understanding of supply chain concepts, theories, and principles and basic knowledge of other related disciplines in particular related to Lump Sum Subsea EPCI projects. The\u00a0Manager Supply Chain must be able to deliver all aspects of Supply Chain operations for large scale marine activities, vessel chartering, marine services, long lead subsea procurement and 3rd party subsea structure fabrication. Decisions made by the\u00a0Manager Supply Chain should be guided by policies, operational requirements, schedule, budgets, and the project requirements.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Lead the project\u2019s effort and oversee project staff.<\/li>\n
  • Responsible for Supply Chain Budget and managing all marine services and procurement to ensure project schedule.<\/li>\n
  • Develop and understand sourcing and material management strategy for the Project.<\/li>\n
  • Understand the major suppliers in the area and maintain relationships.<\/li>\n
  • Lead the interface with various project leads including engineering, marine, QHSE and project management team.<\/li>\n
  • Support the Business Line and Projects by participating in initiatives.<\/li>\n
  • Support diversity efforts.<\/li>\n
  • Support diversification of suppliers and subcontractors within the Supply Chain organization.<\/li>\n
  • Train regional stakeholders in responding to owner requirements for diverse and local content.<\/li>\n
  • Lead supply chain\u2019s participation in the development of social responsibility best practices for the organization and promote the adoption of industry best practices into supply chain practices.<\/li>\n
  • Support project-level resources with diversity, social responsibilities, and local content strategies to effectively implement plans and procedures and respond to change or new challenges.<\/li>\n
  • Organize outreach and information sessions for local suppliers interested in employment, training, or other opportunities and align with stakeholder engagement.<\/li>\n
  • Establish win-win partnerships with diverse and local suppliers that benefit communities, projects, and customers.<\/li>\n
  • Identify and implement any additional opportunities for economic and social development.<\/li>\n
  • Monitor and support reporting on social responsibility outcomes (monthly, quarterly, and annually).<\/li>\n
  • Support the Supply Chain monthly reports for projects.<\/li>\n
  • Own and lead the implementation, enforcement, and verification of compliance with all McDermott policies and procedures.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure employees understand their responsibility and authority to effectively implement the requirements of all McDermott policies and procedures.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure the timely completion of all mandatory training by themselves and their teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n

    Essential Qualifications and Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management or suitable qualification.<\/li>\n
    • 15+ years experience executing EPCI and T&I lump sum projects for major international oil companies working for a SURF contractor.<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge in Marine activities and 3rd<\/i>\u00a0party vessel chartering.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to manage the project critical path, manage suppliers and take accountability for delivery to a Lump Sum budget on the Projects.<\/li>\n
    • Experience working in SCM executing offshore projects in the meditaranimum and Africa is an advantage.<\/li>\n
    • Fluent in Microsoft Office.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational and time management skills.<\/li>\n
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.<\/li>\n
    • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.<\/li>\n
    • Excellent problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n
    • Understanding of national and international regulations around diversity and human rights.<\/li>\n
