Your responsibilities include piping design, 3D modelling, and preparation of engineering deliverables. Our multidisciplinary environment combines project management and engineering excellence, offering employees the opportunity to work on complex, high-impact projects that shape the future of offshore energy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What We Offer<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Opportunity to work with complex offshore piping systems<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on 3D modelling responsibilities in E3D<\/li>\n<li>A collaborative team of 12\u201315 engineers within process, piping, and hydraulics<\/li>\n<li>Long-term project involvement and strong development opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Mentoring from senior engineers<\/li>\n<li>Actively collaborate with industry-leading international clients and work with advanced offshore technologies.<\/li>\n<li>The work you do will result in real piping systems that are deployed in live oil and gas operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform general piping engineering for offshore projects.<\/li>\n<li>Model piping systems in E3D and deliver high-quality 3D designs.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare piping isometric drawings, layouts, and general arrangement drawings.<\/li>\n<li>Design and specify pipe supports and documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Review piping models and ensure alignment with discipline requirements and cross-discipline interfaces.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure designs comply with client requirements, industry standards, and applicable class rules.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in multidisciplinary reviews to develop safe and reliable piping design.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment on technical expectations and requirements<\/li>\n<li>Develop piping material specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Establish piping test procedures and support fabrication through technical follow-up and quality assurance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of and strong interest in piping engineering.<\/li>\n<li>Technical background from offshore or marine industry projects.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with 3D modelling tools such as E3D, PDMS, or Plant 3D.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills in English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Norwegian language skills.<\/li>\n<li>Process piping valves knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Material knowledge and piping material selection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Soft Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Curious and positive mindset with a collaborative approach<\/li>\n<li>Positive attitude and eagerness to develop skills<\/li>\n<li>Structured and quality-driven approach<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving abilities<\/li>\n<li>Ability to thrive in an international, technology-driven environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As a\u00a0Senior Piping Engineer, you will take ownership of piping engineering activities for subsea and topside systems within APL\u2019s turret mooring solutions.
