NOV is seeking an experienced\u00a0<strong>Senior Electrical Engineer\u00a0<\/strong>for our Plant Projects department. In the department of Plant Projects, we handle large investments on machinery, and we are dealing with new equipment as well as improvement and refurbishments of existing. Equipment is large and engineeringly challenging, and good engineering design as well as project execution can have a high impact on final product as well as on usability, safety, reliability and downtime.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Company<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>NOV is a global leader in the design and production of advanced flexible pipe systems. The Denmark sites in Kalundborg and Br\u00f8ndby serves as key hubs in our international operations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What We Offer<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Flexible work-from-home arrangement (1 day\/week).<\/li>\n<li>A collaborative and skilled international team.<\/li>\n<li>Ownership of high-impact projects and technical strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities to travel and collaborate globally.<\/li>\n<li>Long-term career growth and relocation potential.<\/li>\n<li>High degree of trust and independence in an environment with high level of knowledge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop strong internal ownership of electrical power and control systems, ensuring compliance, documentation quality, and continuous improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Review and challenge supplier designs, prepare specifications, and follow up on deliveries of critical components.<\/li>\n<li>Run or support projects on\u00a0<strong>existing electrical\/control systems<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 analyse, evaluate, adjust, and hand over.<\/li>\n<li>Run or support projects on\u00a0<strong>new\u00a0electrical\/control systems<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 specify, implement, commission, and hand over.<\/li>\n<li>Manage projects involving utility service entrance systems, power distribution, power quality, UPS, and backup systems.<\/li>\n<li>Lead energy management initiatives and optimize system performance through data-driven engineering analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Generate concepts and designs in collaboration with stakeholders in Denmark and Brazil.<\/li>\n<li>Support installation activities and execute ad hoc technical tasks such as PLC programming and BMS updates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Education as Electrical Engineer, Marine Engineer, Plant Engineer, Electrical installation Engineer or similar with &amp;#43;5 years experience.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and experience with fulfillment of regulatory requirements in similar environment.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with data-based root cause analysis \u2013 certification within Six-Sigma will be an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding and interest of machine operation and process stability.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).<\/li>\n<li>Experience in working in project teams and on-time delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with implementation in a manufacturing area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency in Danish and\/or Portuguese.<\/li>\n<li>Some experience within project management will be an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Preferably hands-on experience in all parts from specification, implementation, commissioning and hand-over.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in offshore oil &amp; gas equipment engineering.<\/li>\n<li>Accustomed to working within a matrix organization.<\/li>\n<li>Enjoyment of team collaboration and social engagement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you passionate about large, cool, engineeringly challenging Manufacturing equipment?
